ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Richmond, IN – 14,136 s.f.

Wayne Bank's downtown Richmond headquarters underwent a comprehensive 14,136-square-foot renovation designed to modernize the facility while supporting future growth and operational efficiency. As Wayne Bank's flagship location, the project aligned the branch and main office with the contemporary design standards established through previous K4 projects, including the Cambridge City remodel and Eastside Branch.

Completed in four carefully planned phases, the renovation allowed the two-story facility to remain fully operational throughout construction, minimizing disruption to both employees and customers. A key component of the redesign included relocating the branch to the opposite side of the building, creating more direct access from the parking lot and improving the overall customer experience.

The interior features a sophisticated palette of cool grays accented with Wayne Bank's signature blue and teal branding colors. Custom graphics, including a local history wall, celebrate the bank's deep roots within the Richmond community while reinforcing its brand identity. Existing two-story entry atriums were infilled to create valuable second-floor meeting spaces, and additional office areas were incorporated to accommodate future growth.

To enhance operational efficiency, the branch incorporates modern teller pods and Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs), creating a more personalized and streamlined banking experience. The result is a refreshed headquarters that reflects Wayne Bank's commitment to innovation, community, and exceptional customer service while positioning the institution for continued success for years to come.
